Wings of Change Children's Program
This 6-8 session program is designed to to build your child's resiliency, lessen anxiety, and reduce possible trauma related symptoms. A story-workbook book written by our very own Dr Irmak Birey, Courageous Nate: A Donkey's Tale of Bravery is incorporated in the children's program, which kids can use with their caregivers between sessions to enhance their experience. Courageous Nate is a story told from a donkey's perspective that mirror Eagala's fundamental principles where clients are given space to "reflect, project, and make deep connections" in their interactions with our equine team members.

HOW EAGALA WORKS
The Eagala Model is a team approach that includes a licensed, credentialed Mental Health Professional, a qualified Equine Specialist, and horses working together with the client in an arena at all times.
When inside the arena, all the work is done on the ground with the horses front and center, deliberately unhindered and never ridden, and allowed to interact with the client as they wish. This creates the space for the client, with the support of the professional facilitators, to reflect, project, and make deep connections. Please Click on the Eagala brochure to get further familiar with our model.
